I got an AlexaPur system, and the silicone hole plugs they provided somehow tainted the water with a strong odor and taste. They replaced them and the result was the same. I ordered these plugs and they completely resolved that issue. Today I'm replacing my filter with an entire Phoenix system.
We love our Phoenix Gravity System. It has paid for itself quite quickly. It's handy and gives us wonderful clean water.
The original spigot is all stainless steel. This one with the sight has a plastic spigot. If you can live without the sight glass keep the stock spigot
I purchased the PGWFS and the wooden stand last year and love it! It looks beautiful on my kitchen island and the water is delicious. I feel good knowing my family is drinking clean water free of contaminants.

I’ve had the gravity feed water filter for about four months now. What a difference even the company that comes over and I take water from says it tastes so much better. The reason why I got it is it portable. Very pleased it’s the only water I use.except for showering.

I've used it for almost a month now and the jury's still out, I had a lot of trouble getting it set up because it kept leaking. I finally bought extra washers, the plastic kind and used two in different spots and that stopped the leaking. The taste of the water is palatable, but not as good as the reverse osmosis water I'd been drinking. It's simple and easy to use now that I've got my problems worked out, though and there aren't lots of moving parts to break. I can see it lasting for decades.

I’ve had my Phoenix water filter for over a year now and I’ve loved it! We got the largest one and fill it roughly twice a week with 2 adults consumption. We have a perfect home for it in the kitchen and have never had any issues!

It’s way too expensive and not easy to get out of the housing when replacing.

The end result is fantastic. The directions are not clear, the diagram for the water containers are too small, there are parts I don’t know what to do with, the washers for the filters and spigot need to be tightened with every use.
I've been using this water filter for over 8 months and I'm very pleased with the results. The water tastes noticeably better – cleaner and fresher. It's a significant improvement over tap water. The filter seems to do a great job.
The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is to rethink the filling process. It can be a little cumbersome to have to move the entire filter container every time you need to refill it. An improvement like an open/close mechanism, or a hinged lid, on the top half reservoir would make refilling so much easier and more convenient. It would allow you to add water without disturbing the entire unit.
Despite that minor inconvenience, I'm very satisfied with this product. The clean-tasting water is well worth it, and I would definitely recommend it.
